Dining
Start your day with a hearty breakfast, using locally sourced products. We cater for special dietary requirements – please advise when making your reservation.
Breakfast will vary according to the time of year. A full English will always be available with the addition of toasted bagels with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs in the warmer months and Sarah’s cinnamon porridge in the winter. Upon your arrival we will request your preferences so we can get it just right for you.
We have three pubs within walking distance of the house. The Pheasant is less than a 10 minute walk and the Burcott Inn and Ring O Bells are about 20 minutes. All pubs in our area are dog friendly.
If you are travelling in a group and would like a special dinner together, this can be organised. We can also provide a packed lunch if you are going out on a day trip. Please advise on booking with your requests.
Pets
Well behaved dogs are welcome for an additional cost of £10 per night.
Group bookings
We love welcoming groups — whether you’re hosting a spiritual retreat, a nature gathering, or simply a family get-together. Our spacious and inviting Loft Room can accommodate workshops of up to 12 people, providing a relaxed and comfortable environment.
We’re delighted to partner with Wildlife Worldwide and the charismatic birder Mike Dilger, who leads birdwatching trips to the Somerset Levels from our base in January and May.
To make your stay even more enjoyable, we offer delicious evening meals and lunches (including packed lunches), all freshly prepared and tailored to your group’s needs.
Andy has been working in the wine industry since around the age of 18 and brings a wealth of expertise to the table. If you would like to enjoy your meal with a perfectly matched wine pairing, please feel free to enquire.
Guest Lounge
We have a comfortable guest lounge where you can relax and unwind. It features an honesty bar, along with a selection of books and games for guests to enjoy during their stay.
Charges
Any damages, losses or expenditure incurred will be paid for using the card details provided at time of booking.
We have a 2 night minimum stay policy in June, July and August. Please call to discuss any booking requirements outside of this policy.
Accessibility
Well lit paths lead to the wide entrance. All rooms are up at least one flight of stairs. The bar and guest lounge is situated on the ground floor. Fire alarms are equipped with lights.
